Hi,is it true that buses to Shilin leave from Kunming at the bus station which is opposite the long-distance bus station? And can you tell me how I can make sure to get a bus which is not a tourist bus stopping at a lot of tourist spots in between?Thanks, Oliver

I know that there are buses from Kunming Long-distance bus station aside Kunming railway station to Shilin. You may buy the  tickets at the ticket window of the bus station first to avoid taking on a tourist bus.
