About:Chinese Consulate in New York

I have 2 questions: 1.I need to submit a Certificate of free Sale to China do I need to authentica those two documents or only apostille them (CHINA BELONGS TO HAGUE CONVENTION). 2. What is the correct name to use in commercial documents: "CHINA" or "PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA"? Thank you.

1) You need to authenticate the two documents, China doesn't belong to Hague Convention, but Hong Kong, Macau belong to Hague Convention

2) You need to use PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
