this is a faq from my students. "was china's isolation good or bad for their civilization?"

China was not an isolated country in the Han Dynasty. Emperor Wudi of the Western Had ever sent Zhang Qian to Western regions twice to communicate with the western countries, adn the silk road was opened then.
