About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Please advise if Chinese visa will be required for a person holding Canadaian passport to visit Shanghai city for 2 days (less than 48 hours) when this person travels from Hong Kong back to Toronto stop at Shanghai with connecting air ticket from Shanghai to Toronto. Hong Kong to Shanghai on April 11 and Shangahi to Toronto on April 13. Thank you.

A Chinese visa is not required for you. You can visit Shanghai city for 2 days (less than 48 hours), just show your Canadian passport, connecting air ticket from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Shanghai to Toronto.
