About:Zhangjiakou Travel

Hi,
I will be visiting Beijing 3 weeks from now and I tried looking for a mountain where I can do a day hike. A friend of mine who happens to work in Beijing referred me to Ji Ming Shan. Upon my research I found one travel blog about his visit and did a hike on this place.
Am I right in my research that Ji Ming Shan is located at Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province?
If so, is the place allowed to be hiked by tourists? How many hours is the hike?
What is the means of transportation from Beijing reaching this place and going to the trail of the mountain?
I hope you can help me on this one.
Thank you very much.

Hi, usually the Ji Ming Mountain refers to the one at Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. Tourists are allowed to hike on the mountain. You can take bus from Beijing to Zhangjiakou, then take bus or taxi to Jimingshan.
