About:Passport

hi, can somebody help out???

my 5 yr old son and I have a ticket for 1 month vacation to singapore.
my husband bought it last january when he is here for vacation.
but my problem is that my phil. passport will expire on Oct 7 this yr 2011.
i have appointments for renewal but dfa pampanga released will be after 25 working days.
reason is they're having technical problem due on power failure.
actually it is scheduled today but i rather cancelled because i was thinking of taking
a risk just to still try my passport since its expiration is on october.

do you think guys can i really use my passport for the last time this year because i have
a growing baby inside me. i just hope immigration officers still allow me and my son for travel
since my son is really looking forward to spend vacation with his dad this summer.

the hurtful fact if we cant fly this april is because we have planned this vacation for 3 mos now :((

thanks for your response!

If Filipinos are exempt from a visa to Singapore, a passport with one month validity beyond the stay in Singapore is accepted by Immigration Officers, however, if you need a visa to Singapore, a passport with at least 6 months validity is required.

If you won't travel in April, you still have time to apply for a new passport in the Philippines.
