Hi,Can resident permit be extended way before its expiry? For example, if the resident permit expires on 30th August 11, can one apply for extension some time in April 11?Lavanya

Resident Permit can be extended before its expiry date, but it is too early for you to apply for extension on April 11 if it expires on August 30. You can apply for extension 2 weeks before its expiration.
