I plan to go to Shangri-la sept 2011, I am wondering which hotel in shangri-la that comfortable for me. but I have search no result in this website for shangri-la hotel. Please inform. Thank you

I have been there last Sep. and it is indeed worthy of the trip.

As to hotel, it really depends on your budget, the hotel i stayed in charges RMB 180/day, with 24 hours hot-water supplying and wireless internet, i felt it is cozy. unfortunately it does not have English version on the web which they advertised on, however, if you are interested in, u can contact me at <span class="clspost">hotmail.com|alexandriadu</span>, I may be able to help since I can talk to the hotel in Chinese, in fact there are several hotels but seldom provide English service.

I spent 2 nights in Shangrila, 1 night at Yalashuo '4 star hotel' through tour operator, and after the tour finished I moved to another hotel close to the old town recommended by tripadvisor. Yalashuo is brand new but unfortunately filthy. The hot water was non-existent. It is 24hr hotel which means the receptionist sleeps at her desk, literally. The mattress complete with blanket and pillow crumbled on the floor and yes they serve guests in pajama. The other hotel was excellent.
From my experience, 1 night is more than enough to spend in Shangrila.
