Since i will be alone during the day while my husband is working, can I take local tours SAFELY and walk the streets by myself safely

This city is safe enough for travelers so you could take easy. Of course, as a common sense, be careful of pickpocket at these crowded area, such as railway station, bus and some popular streets.
