Hello and thank you so much for your help. Can I apply for my Chinese work visa in any Chinese Embassy in any country, or do I have to apply in a Chinese Embassy in my country of residence only? I do not have time to apply in advance here, because my employer still needs to first send me the invitation from the Chinese government which is necessary for me to use when applying for my work visa, and he said the process would take about four or five weeks.
