About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

I am a myanmar national currently living in kathmandu. I want to go to china in tourist visa for few weeks. so what should I do? Can I apply for chinese visa in Kathmandu or do I need to apply from my own country? And what kind of documents do I need in applying visa.

You can apply for Chinese visa in Kathmandu if you have legal document which entitles you to live in Kathmandu for a long time, such as residence permit, work permit, etc

The requirements for you to apply for Chinese tourist visa are:
A. The original passport, one photocopy of the passport page containing the personal particulars.
B. Truly completed Visa Application Form affixed with one recent passport-photo size color photograph
C. Invitation Letter from a a China Travel Agency, if you cannot provide an invitation letter, please provide a visa recommendation letter from your employing company, organization, etc.
D. bank statements, round-trip air tickets booking
