I am a myanmar national currently living in kathmandu. I want to go to china in tourist visa for few weeks. so what should I do? Can I apply for chinese visa in Kathmandu or do I need to apply from my own country? And what kind of documents do I need in applying visa.Thank you very much for your help.sincerelyNanujjota

You can apply for Chinese visa in Kathmandu if you have legal document which entitles you to live in Kathmandu for a long time, such as residence permit, work permit, etc The requirements for you to apply for Chinese tourist visa are: A. The original passport, one photocopy of the passport page containing the personal particulars. B. Truly completed Visa Application Form affixed with one recent passport-photo size color photographC. Invitation Letter from a a China Travel Agency, if you cannot provide an invitation letter, please provide a visa recommendation letter from your employing company, organization, etc. D. bank statements, round-trip air tickets booking
