hello, my name is ella pelled i'm 23 years old from Israel.
i'm 2 weeks before my trip to the east, im starting in Nepal (2 month), than to India (3 month) and after this my plan is to arrive to china.
my question is if i can do a visa to china from india?
i want to arrive to china only for travelling...

thank you for your quick answer, let me just understand something- if i'm only traveeling in india for 3 month it's not enough time for applying to visa?

about HK i belive that you meen to hong kong right?
do you know if israeli people can apply trogh hk if they never been in china before or that i need to ask them?

Generally speaking, Non-Indian passport holders are supposed to apply for any type of Chinese visa in the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home countries, with the exception that one is residing and working in India.

But you can't obtain a China visa in Israel because it expires when you go to China (a single entry China visa is only valid for 3 months), you can try to apply for China visa in India. Israeli people can't obtain a China visa in Hong Kong if they never have been in China before.

If you want to apply for a visa in India, you are required to provide the original and a copy of permanent residence or work permit in India which should be valid for at least half a year (except for you are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in India). But you can try to apply in HK through Commissioner's office of China Foreign Affairs.

i bealive that we didn't understand each other, i don't have an indian passport, i have only israeli passport.
this is why i want to know if i can apply for a visa through india?
thank you again for all your help i hope i will be able to visit china and to enjoy her beautiful scene.

Ms.ella pelled, you can try to apply for China visa in India, but maybe your application will be denied because you are just a traveler in India. Anyhow, you have to have a try! You'd better explain that the reason why you can't apply for China visa in Israel. Mr.Kevin is right, he means that the visa obtained in Israel will expire when you go to China, a single entry is only valid for 3 months, if you get it in Israel, you will visit Nepal for 2 months, India for 3 months, it expires before you go to China, therefore, he said that you can't obtain a visa in Israel.
You need to explain it on the visa application form.
