I'm very glad to hear that we can online get the train ticket here. Me and my friend would like to get a return ticket from Guilin to Guangzhou at 26/9/2011 to 29/9/2011. But I cannot find T40 schedule at this page. May I know how I can get it and how much the price for soft sleeper? Please kindly advice. Thanks

From Guilin to Guangzhou, two trains K38/K35 & K950/K951 are available and it costs around CNY383 for one soft sleeper on the train K950/K951. And I just searched the train T40 on the official website of China railway, there is no such train available now.
