About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

I am planning to visit Shanghai in July with my daughter and notice that you require details of past Visa's to China. I was last in China in 2000 , and since then my passport has expired and i do not have the old passport any more, and therefore have no details. Is this a problem in applying for a Visa?

In your situation, you can apply China visa as for the first time. Don't mention you had China visa before and the visa officers will not require it. Don't worry, it is not a problem.
