About:China Work Visa

Hello, I have been working as an English teacher in China and was issued a Z visa, but found I could not take working for the company any longer, so I had to quit. The director of the school refused to compromise on some things, so I had no choice but to leave. What are the repercussions regarding the visa and residence permit? I should change visas, I guess, but is it absolutely necessary?

Yes, your employer may cancel your resident permit after your leaving, so now you need to apply for a L visa at local PSB, possibly they will issue you a visa to leave within 10 days. But if your employer will not cancel your resident permit, you can live until it expires.
