About:China Basics

il be visiting beijing n march 15-18, 2011. Is knee high boots and thick winter jackets still fashionable in going up the great wall? is wearing thermal wear advisable? how about bringing umbrella?

It is about 13 degree at daytime in Beijing. So, winter jacket is a bit thick. It is not strange to wear knee high boots. Not necessary to wear thermal wear and bring umbrella. A sweater and a warm coat are enough.
