About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

hi, just want to ask..we have a job offer as an assistant teacher in china direct hiring but we have to gain tourist visa first and then when we're there thats the time they will process our working permit and the contracts to sign. Is this possible?

It is possible, but you'd better apply in your home country before going. Because to change visa types are difficult and cost much through visa agency.
