hi,can you get to halong bay from guangzhou?

Hi,Can you get to halong bay from Guangzhou? I know there is a ferry from  Beihai. If no way from Guangzhou how long to get to Beihai from Guangzhou. Thanks for any replies. Regards

You can take bus from Guangzhou Jiaokou Bus Station or the Provincial Bus Station of Guangzhou to Beihai. The bus takes about 7-9 hours.
