my chinese friends studying here in the philippines will visit their home country (china) by the end of this month. however, 2 of them have (chinese) passports which will expire in august 2011.
can they travel using these passports, or do they need to renew them first here before they leave?
(does the 6-month validity requirement apply only for visa application and not on the actual trip?)
