About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I travel to Khabarovsk, Russia frequently - for business.
I would like to visit China occasionally, as a tourist (more than once)
Do I need an Invitation to visit China? How do I go about getting one?
Can I apply for Invitation and Visa while in Russia?

You can apply for a China tourist visa in Russia from Chinese embassy or consulate over the area of your residence. No visa invitation letter is needed if you will travel individually, but round trip air tickets and hotel bookings are required. And if you will join a tour to China, you need invitation letter from a travel agency in China.
