About:China Customs Declaration

Hi, I will be visiting China in the next few months and plan to buy a camera, ipod, ipod speakers, playstation games in China for my personal use.

If I unpackage them and use them while in China, will I have to pay tax when I leave China to go to Hong Kong then to NZ?

No problem when you leave China, but I am not very clear about the custom in NZ about the eletronics. If you will go to Hong Kong, I suggest you do not buy in mainland China. It is cheaper in Hong Kong.
