About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

I will be part of a group tour to China that includes a 3 day side trip to Lhasa Tibet.
Do I require a double entry Chinese visa?

You don't require a double-entry Chinese visa, Tibet is also part of Mainland China, a single entry visa allows you to visit Lhasa Tibet and other cities in China, but you need to Tibet Entry Permit to enter Lhasa.
