About:China Visa Exemption

i have an international flight europe to hong kong-during my stay in hongkong , I want to do a short trip (macao --> shangai and then a return flight shangai-> hongkong (assuming that i will stay in shangai less than 48h)-- do I need a visa ( I think it's ok for exemption ) ? thanks

Yes, you are right, no visa is required to Shangahi if you have final destination tickets.
