About:Li River

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Yangshuo from Guilin. I will be arriving at Grand 0773 hotel at Guilin on 14/4 midnight. So, planing to go Yangshuo on 15/4 morning. What is the best transportation to take?

Li River Cruise? What is the cost like? What are the alternative if i take Li River cruise from the hotel?

Bus? what is the cost and where can i take the bus?

Yeah, you may just take a Li river cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, enjoying the beautiful scenery on the way. It costs about CNY245 for an ordinary Ship and CNY450 for a Luxious one per person. It takes about 5-10 minutes from your hotel to the Li river cruise port in fact.

Just want to check do i need to book the cruise in advance? any webside that i can do online booking?

As, i will be arriving late on 14/4/2011 to Guilin, i plan to go for Guilin -yongshuo cruise the next day.

Usually book through travel agents. If you arrive late in the first day, better to book in advance.

at the town ,there has many travel agents,you will find them easily.

I have another question. How much do these travel agents typically charge for the Li River Cruise? I am going in August which isnt considered a peak period.

I am wondering if it's cheaper to buy from the travel agents in town rather than from the hotel i'll be staying in Guilin.

yes,the agent`s is cheaper than the hotel`s.the price is included the ticket ,a lunch on the boat and the bus pick you up from your hotel in the morning.
