Hi, I have to find my way to Yichang to join someone for a cruise up the Yangtse on June 13, 2011. When the cruise ends in Chongqing on June 17 morning, I have to find my way to Guilin. Then on June 21, I have to find my way back to Hong Kong from Yangshuo. Please kindly advise the train schedules that best fit this itinerary on these dates, giving the names of the stations where I board/disembark, the time of the train journey, departure and arrival time, and costs. Should you think part of this is better met by flights, please also let me know the flight details and costs. Finally, please advise where I can get these tickets in Hong Kong.I appreciate any advice you may have. BestSP

From Chongqing to Guilin, there is only one train K652/K653 departing around 20:48 from Chongqing North Train Station. And it takes around 20hrs by costing about CNY274 for one soft sleeper. From Yangshuo to Hong Kong, neither direct flight nor train is available. You could take a bus to Guilin airport first and then take a flight to Hong Kong. Or, you can take a bus to Guilin train station first, and then take train K950/K951 leaving at 21:20 to Shenzhen with around 13hrs. After reaching Shenzhen, you can pass trough Luohu port and take the MTR to the center of Hong Kong. For the flight info. in details, you can check on the website.
