About:China Visa Application in USA

We have been living in China for 3 years and the last time we renewed our Chinese Residence Permit we were told that at the next renewal we need a Notorized Chinese Translation of our Marriage Certificate. How do I do that?

First, Chinese Translation of Marriage certificate should first be notarized by a local Notary Public.

Second, the document is required to be verified by the County Clerk before the authentication by the Secretaries of State.

Third, the documents are required to be authenticated by the Secretary of New York State

Fourth, the Chinese Consulate General authenticates the signature of the Secretary of State

Who does the Chinese translation? I was told to take my Marriage Certificate to the China Embassy and they translate it.
