About:Beijing South Railway Station

Is subway the best way from Beijing south railway station to west railway station?

I will be coming from Tianjin to South Beijing Station and need to get to Beijing West to go to Taiyuan. I will have luggage. Is subway best way?

There is no direct subway from Beijing south train station to the west train station. Get out of the station, you can take bus 53 and stop at the south square of Beijing West Railway station. If you luggage is in big size, I advise you to take a taxi there.
