My family are planning a tour to USA and will take the flight from Melbourne via Guangzhou to Los Angeles. There is 15 hours waiting time in Guangzhou for the connecting flight to LA.
We hold Australian passport, also valid 港澳居民內地通行證, if we wants to visit our friends in Guangzhou during the waiting time, do we need to apply a entry visa or just use the 港澳居民內地通行證 as a permit.
