About:Chinese Embassy in Egypt

If my Egyptian husband gets a regular visitor's visa to go with me to China to make sure he will have it on time, and then we need to change his visa either right before going to China or after we arrive to an extended resident visa, will we have problems changing his visa to a visa of the spouse of a working resident if he has already applied for or even obtained a regular visitor's visa? What are the requirements for an Egyptian citizen to obtain a regular visitor's visa to China, and how long does it give him in China?

Thank you so much for all your helpful replies!

Ms.Lily, it is advisable for your husband to apply for work visa as your accompanying family mebmber, it can also be called dependent visa. There is not visitor visa of China, your husband will get a Tourist Visa for family visit if he can't get a dependent visa. The tourist visa can't be changed into a dependent visa, he can only apply for extension of his tourist visa before expiration, the visa can only be extended twice.

It takes 4 working days for visa processing.
