About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Me and my wife want to go to china to see my son who is studing in china. what are the required documents to get the visa . two other family members also join with us to see their son also who is studing in china. travel agents tell lot of things and they put lot of gravity on this. i don,t know why. please advise me.

The required documents for you, your wife and the other family members to apply for a tourist visa for visiting family members are:
1. applicant's passport
2. each applicant fill one visa application form V.2011A and affix one recent passport on the form
3. the invitation letter from your son
4. the copy of son's passport, Chinese residence permit
5. the relationship certificate, such as birth certificate
