About:China Train

I am interested in catching the fast train from Guilin to Beijing. The T6 train appeals to my time. We are 4 adults and 1 child, and would like a soft sleeper, I have heard you cant buy tickets in advance, is this correct?

Usually, the train tickets could be issued around 10 days prior to the traveling date according to regulations of China National Railway Authority. And the website could issue the train tickets for guests once the tickets being on sale. On Guilin-Beijing route, only the train K22 with starting station at Guilin could be booked online.
