Can I renew my old HK ID card to the latest Smart ID card here in Toronto?
Please advise

If you apply for renewal of Hong Kong SAR Passport and HK ID Card at the same time, you can do it in Toronto; if you just renew your old HK ID card, you can apply for it within 30 days after you return to Hong Kong.
