About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I have a French passport that expires in May 2011. I am planning to book a return flight from the UK to Hong Kong this week for fourl days. My understanding is that I don't need a visa with a French passport. Can I travel to Hong Kong if my passport expires in 2 months time?
Thank you

Yes, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong for 4 days by holding French passport. You can travel to Hong Kong even though your passport will expire in May, as I know, if your passport still have one month remaining validity beyond your stay in Hong Kong, it is accepted by HK immigration officers.
