About:China Train

If I travel with 2 large suitcases on a K train, is there enough space to put them in the compartment or is there a secure place where large suitcases can be stored during the journey?

Yes, there is enough space. You can put you suitcase on the luggage racks. Or, you can just store it under your berth provided you take the lower soft/hard sleeper.
