Hi.  I have 3 days (Saturday to Monday) to visit Huangsan.  I am currently in Suzhou.  Is there a train from Suzhou to Huangsan?  I don't like to follow tour and like to do a free ang easy tour.  Where do you suggest I stay so that I am close to the attractions?

From Suzhou, the train K782/K738 could take you to Huangshan City in 11 hours. Upon arrival, you have to transfer to a bus or a taxi to the Mt. Huangshan Scenic Area in one hour.On the other hand, you could take a bus for 2 hours from Suzhou to Hangzhou City and then transfer to Mt. Huangshan Scenic Area by bus in 6 hours.
