Hi, there is an underground channel linking Central MTR station and Hong Kong MTR station. You can walk through it. There is also channel underground between TST and East TST station, but it may be a little hard for you to go through it. There are road signs leading you or you'd better ask for somebody for a help when going there.

You don't have to pay. I walked thru there a few times, but it is about 10 mins walk. It is a nice walk.

It is easier to walk thru the tunnel. The tunnel is a very wide tunnel. If you go outside and you may have difficult to locate the other station. Besides, if the weather is hot, or rainy, it wouldn't be fun to walk outside.
