About:China Visa Fees

Well am from the states and have been in China for almost three months now.i have a L visa which expired on 30th Dec and was renewed but it again expired on 20 Jan. 2011,My question is, my company is filing for my z visa which is almost done since i now have the Alien Working License which was issued on FEB 22 2011 (though my extension was died) and waiting for the Visa notice to be issued,my company is willing to pay the fine of 5000RMB,yet i just want to find out if i will be given any stamp that wouldn’t allow me re-apply from my home country since i have to go back home and apply for the z visa with the documents acquired.I really what to know what you guys think.

Best regards,

Selina

The local Exit & Enter Department of Public Security Bureau will issue you a 10 days visa on your passport, but there is asterisk in the parentheses, I guess that you will face problems when you apply for Z visa in your home country because visa official will know that you overstay your visa in China.
