hi, i want to go to guangzhou from hong kong by train.

Question

Hi, i want to go to Guangzhou from Hong Kong by train. Which is better option, train from Kowloon directly to Guangzhou (based on availability) or Hong Kong to lowu and from there to Guangzhou? Also does the lowu border have direct connection to Shenzhen railway station so that i can take the train for Guangzhou. if not then how do i go to Shenzhen railway station from lowu and the train from Shenzhen to Guangzhou where it stops does it connect to the Guangzhou metro as i want to go to chigang station on line 8.thanks

Both transport methods are ok. After reaching Lowu port, you are within walking distance to the train station. The trains from Shenzhen to Guangzhou reach Guangzhou train station or east train station, where metro stations are available. From Guangzhou train station to Chigang station, you can take the subway line 2 to Changgang station first and then take Subway line 8 to Chigang station.
