The school holidays in mainland includes Summer and Winter Holidays. The summer holiday is from July to August. Usually, the students go back to school on Sep.1. The winter holiday usually begins 10-15 days before Chinse Lunar New Year and ends on Jan. 16 (Chinese lunar calendar). It lasts about 20 to 30 days.
