About:Huaqing Pool

Hi

Am visitng in May and heading obviously to The Terracotta Warriors and am aware that the Huaqing Hot Springs are also out of Xian town. I have an option of a private car so seeing and being transported to both would be convenient. Otherwise if heading to just the warriors - i can independantly get there and wont be in as much of a rush.

So are you able to Bathe at the springs and is there a show still being done there ? Am just wondering if Im trying to fit too much into a day and if its worth it ? I know everyones opininon is different - but any advise would be great.

Jeff.

Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Hot Springs are located near to each other, so you can visit both of them. There are special bathing area in Huaqing Hot spring. There is a show starting around 20:30 and lasting for about 60 minutes every night there.

Hi Mr Frank

Thanks for your reply. Im glad there is a bathing area.

With the show - what kind of show is it. I was told that it was a light show as well ? But getting diff reports.

DO you know of any transport from the warriors to the springs? If I get to the warriors by public transport - do you think id be able to take a taxi to the springs and then head back to Xian ( either by train from the warriors or direct from the springs ?)

Thanks again - Jeff

It can be said as a light show too, for the light scene is very beautiful.
The Spring is a stop of tourism bus no. 5 (bus no. 306), which travels between the Xian Railway Station and the Warriors sites. In this way, you could take the bus from Xian to the Warriors site, from the Warriors site to the Spring and from the Spring to Xian.
