About:China Postal Service

I've been waiting for this parcel RR731618203CN posted Feb. 9, 2011, where in the world could it be? The last status showed on Feb. 14, 2011 was "departure from outward office of exchange" in Beijing, International airport. Is it out of China? Or is it here in U.S.A. and held by custom? It's more 2 weeks in this status and it's almost a month from the time it was posted. Can somebody help me what to do or how to track it? Is there a chance that I would be able to receive this parcel? What could be causing the delay? Thanks for helping.

I think your parcel has been out of China and during the shipment. You are not able to check the status during the shipping process. Your parcel may be delayed because of the Chinese spring festival. You still have the chance to get the parcel, just wait for some time more.

Thank you Mr. Bruce. I called the 1(800) USPS and they advised me to check with them (Beijing) what shipment (air/sea) it was sent. All they have is "Originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail". I don't think this is possible. Does it normally take this long? When should I be alarmed that it's not gonna get to me? Thanks again.
