About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

hi, I am an american citizen traveling from Australia back home to L.A. I have a 10 hr layover in Beijing and was wondering if I need a visa to exit the airport for a few hours...

Would appreciate any help,

Visa is required if you want to exit the airport.
