About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

I am currently living in China and working for a company as an English Teacher. I currently hold an F business visa valid for one year with multiple entries, but I must leave the country every 90 days. My company is trying to change it to a Z visa. I have read that you must have been out of college for 2 years before you can get a Foreign experts certificate. I currently graduated Sept. of last year. Will I be able to get a Z-visa. Also if I extend my F-visa so I don't need to leave the country, will I lose the multiple entries, and how long can I extend it for. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I just got an internship for ONE YEAR at a French company in Shanghai. I would like then to have an employment visa (Z), to be able to stay for one year. However, I need to get a WORK PERMIT and i am only 20 YEARS OLD. Can I still get it???

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

According to your situation, you have to first get a Business Visa to Shanghai, I know that it only allows you to stay in Shanghai for 6 months at most, but there is no other option, you can't obtain a work visa for one year internship. When the business visa will expire, please go to Exit-Entry administrative Bureau of Shanghai Public Security Bureau to apply for 6 months extension of Business visa.

Visa can not be changed since issue. What your employer trys to do is to apply for a new visa, and it is very hard to get a Z visa if you can not be given a Foreign experts certificate. Your current multiple visa is ok for use but it can not be extended in CHina. And it will be cancelled once you get a new visa.
