Hi Just wondering if you have bus schedules and fares for travel from Chengdu to Leshan?Iam planning to visit in May 2011.THanks - Jeff

At Chengdu New South Gate Bus Station, there are buses departing to Leshan from 07:00 to 21:30 every 20 minutes. The fare is CNY35 more or less.

Thanks for your reply Mr Sam. Thats great to know that there is a bus at 7am - Ive been told that this takes around 2.5 / 3hrs ? Please confirm - thanks again .And would you have times for the bus from Leshan to Chengdu ?Does the bus stop at the main entrance to the Buddha or at a different location?Thanks again - Jeff

1. The bus journey is about 2 hours.2. At Leshan Xiaoba Bus Station, there are buses to Chengdu from 7:00 to 19:003. From Chengdu, the bus will stop at Leshan Xiaoba Bus Station in downtown. Then, you could hire a taxi driving to the Buddha. The fare is CNY20.
