About:Fujian Travel

I will be traveling to Fuzhou in May with a few members of my family and my 4 year old daughter. I have been to Fuzhou many times but never toured outside of the province except for short trips to Beijing and Hong Kong. Can you suggest short trips near Fuzhou that would be of interest? I would like to travel by train and stay overnight several days to explore.

I think you could take a bullet train for about 1.5 hours from Fuzhou to Xiamen. You could stay two nights on the quiet and exotic Gulangyu Island.
