About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi, I would like to go to China again in july and stay for three months, after that i want to go to India, also for three months. I would like to go back to China after that period and stay another 6 months. Just travelling, no plans on working. Would that be possible, even if I would have to leave China again during this last 6 months? Also, would I be able to get a 2 entry visa from India?

Regards,
Alberto

If you want to apply China visa in India, you are required to provide the original and a copy of your permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year. Except for that you are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in India. Otherwise, you can apply for China visa in Hong Kong.

I'm only a traveller. My travel plans are: Stay in China for three months, then go to India for another three months, then go back to China and stay three months, spend a week in Thailand and go back to China for more three months. How can I proceed? What kind of visa do I need and which options do I have?
Thanks a lot for being so helpful!

Then you have to apply for a multi-entry China visa, since you will enter China three times in total.

But is it easy to get? I was told that an one year multiple entry visa are only allowed for business purposes.

It is not true, you can try to apply for a one year mutiple entry visa to China, but better provide related documents such as travel itinerary and flight tickets.

A foreigner can apply for a visa outside his home country. For visa application in India, foreigners other than Indians should have valid Indian visas or valid Residence Permits in India.
