About:China Transit Visa

I hold a Trinidad and Tobago passport and will be travelling from Toronto to Singapore with a layover in Beijing (PEK). I hold a permanent resdient card for Canada. Layover is under two hours. Do I need a transit visa, I will not be leaving the airport.
