Hello, i am Ghanaian living and working in China for about 2 years now. I have a recidence permit.Can i invite my friend from Ghana?What do i kneed to send to him for visa application?I look forward to your reply.Thanks.

You can send him/her your invitation letter, but it may not be  sufficient since you are not relatives. For your friend, it is more applicable if he/she will apply for a China tourist visa through a China travel agency.
