You need following documents for China tourist visa:
1. Original passport valid for more than 6 months with at least 2 black visa pages.
2. Application form for China with a photo stuck to it.
Moreover, an invitation letter from a China travel agency, round-trip ticket and hotel reservations are required if visa officers deem necessary.
