Hi,Can anyone tell me if I can purchase a ticket from Erlian to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia when I'm already in the train. Let me make it little bit clear. For instance, would the ticket be cheap if I purchase separate tickets from Beijing - Erlian ($31) and then once train reaches Erlian purchase the ticket Erlian- Ulaanbaatar (????) while staying in the train.

Yes, it would be cheaper if you buy the tickets separately. However, I am not sure if there are tickets still available when you buy the tickets after the train reaches Erlian.
